Faction: the Four Horsemen composed of Tully Blanchard, the Arn and Ole Anderson, Flair with JJ Dillon managing was the best faction, bar none. It was the prototype faction that set the trend for all other following factions, including Evolution.
Tagteams, arguably, it'd have to be the Road Warriors. They spawned a tag team gimmick that was often copied. If there were no Road Warriors, there would be no Ultimate Warrior or Sting, because at the beginning of their careers, Warrior and Sting tagged in a rip-off of the Road Warriors called the Blade Runners. Both men caught on with the fans, and both men led fruitful careers, and they have the Road Warriors to thank for that.
If there were no Road Warriors there'd be no Power and Paint, there'd be no Demolition. The LOD created that gimmick, and as often douplicated as it is, they do the gimmick justice as the originals.

Has to be the NWO. I would have said Evolution, but they didnt stay together long enough. The NWO was without question the best faction ever. As far as tag teams go, Im going with the Dudleys. They have been together since the beginning of time, and have had the belts numerous times.

Probably Edge & Christian. They were two great heels, put on great five star matches, and were a fresh duo in the Attitude Era. They're also probably the only popular team of the 90's that hasn't reunited, overused, or been ruined like nWo, DX, Legion of Doom, Hardy Boyz, New Age Outlaws, Dudley Boyz, etc.

The best falls between two teams 1) the original heart foundation (bret the hitman heart and Jim the anvil Neidhart) or The original demolition ( ax and smash)

In terms of sheer excitement and getting an audience to pop... The Road Warriors. They made a decision to make their matches very short, very violent, and very exciting. They marketed themselves very well, and it showed by how long they kept the AWA belts.
In terms of two genuinely tough men... Harley Race and Stan "The Lariat" Hansen. They were both very well respected in front of and behind the scenes, and when their run was over they left it all on the mat. Both of them left the sport in terrible physical condition, after decades of abusing their bodies for the fans.

Toss up...
The Hart Foundation - true blue Bret Hart fan down to the core.
The Rockers - the original high-flyers (in my eyes).
