they have no wings or gliding flaps. dropping them from higher heights will just piss them off. hopefully they will scratch and bite you badly and it serves you right.

You need to send them to the best pet training school around. I sent my Standard Poodle to the Los Angeles Pet School of Excellence, and he got his pilots license in only 6 months, I can't keep him on the ground. Every weekend he takes his mates off on a trip somewhere in his new Lear jet. Last week it was Hawaii this week it's San Fransisco I think. He just can't get enough of it. I whole heartedly recommend them.

Hi, found all the instructions that you need on this website:
http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=1&cat=1406&articleid=782
Apparently, all you need is a special sort of carrier & an aeroplane.

Though I did also find some of cats flying without artificial aids (planes) ... looks like yours must be the wrong sort of cat:

Apparently, they should be special Japanese flying cats.... or else cartoon cats:

Though there are such things as winged cats:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winged_cat
whether you'd have more luck with one of those?

This, and the question of why snakes can't dance, will surely be answered after the government gives some grants to a laboratory to help get a detailed report.

The controls on most, if not all aeroplanes, cannot readily be adapted to fit your average cat.

two reasons:-
A/ They can't reach the controls.
B/ They cant speak English to the control tower, therefore they can't pass the license exam.
