im tryin to swap a dell inspiron 3800 motherboard and components into a broken inspiron 4100? will it work?

im thinkin of swapping out my inspiron 3800 motherboard, harddrive, memory and what not to a inspiron 4100 that has a fried motherboard. will the 3800 parts work in the 4100?

why would you do that? because of the display and/or the keyboard of the 4100?

the motherboard of a 3800 will NOT fit in a 4100 case, because the layout is different.
