I am taking my little one to San Diego (from Minneapolis) in mid July. Does it make any sense to book now or is there a chance I can get a better fare further down the line. I think the price I have is probably pretty low - $345.00 ea.

I am trying to get the best deals for air, hotel, etc... I know to book on a Tue or Wed and stay through a Saturday. Any other tips - I never travel!

Thanks

For flights - check out farecast - they predict airfares for you based on historical results and if they say a price will go down, you can buy insurance to be sure that you won't have to pay more than what you see today.

Also, try southwest where if you see a better rate (download ding and watch your route) you can change without penalty (although credit stays on their site for use in a year)

Good luck.

That is a pretty good price but you may get a better deal if you buy a package with hotel & flight.

that's pretty good price,, it hard to say if it go up or down on airfares,as supply and demand on fuel, and lately it has been going up and so had airfares.... I would say get them now,,or check out www.kayak.com and see if you can get a better price?
