it might be the weather right now.....a lot of people specially kids are sniffing and coughing or have colds. the best thing to do is make sure they are taking children multivitamines and eating well.

also, if one of the children get a cold, all the others get cold too and this is specially true when they are in day care or in school. when any of the kids gets sick with a cold, it has to run its course which is 2 weeks or so. meanwhile, the others can catch the cold too.

There's something keeping germs in the house. Air it out (even for just a little bit since it may be cold in your area right now). Buy a couple of cans of Lysol. Spray everything. Door knobs, telephones, refrigerator door handle, microwave handle, cabinet door knobs, toilet handle...anything people touch. Wash the kid's hands often (and your own as well). Also...all of the toys that CAN be put in water...soak them in a solution of water and bleach. The things like cloth dolls...hit 'em with the Lysol. It still may take a couple of weeks to recover, but use the Lysol every other day, and eventually...it will stop passing from one to the other and back again.

Allot of little kids seem to constantly be sick (runny noses especially) it could be if they are around other small children and pass things to each other. Is there smoking in the house?

The younger kids probably haven'tdelveloped immunity to thingslike common coldandstomach problems, but theolder oneproably has had a lot of illnesses and has a higher level of resistance. I would try more handwashing and uy lysol spray and purell in all rooms also clean toys with disinfectant weekly.

It may have nothing to do with the school. It may just be the sheer inevitable fact of immunity. Give your child a little boast of wellness. Give her good foods and maybe a vitamin. Consult your doctor if you have any questions.

The oldest has a stronger immune system & he brings germs home to the little ones.

Foul air in the house? Too many people crammed in a house/apartment? Better to consult a doctor.

Older children have been exposed to more viruses and have therefore developled more immunities to more varieties of germs.

It will happen to the young 'uns as well, when they get a bit older.

Keep them clean by keeping the house clean.

Keep them warm.

Anything in the neighbourhood that is suspect?

See a doctor to figure out what they suffer from.
