this movie was set in Florida, a guy sets up some sort of center and takes in a group of delinquent teenagers. some gang members attack the center and the kids wind up in the everglades for some reason and fight back against the gang. The guy that started the center was some sort of ex-military or something and taught the kids all kinds of stuff. I saw this movie when I was around 10 or 11 I think, I am 30 now, i have always wanted to watch it again, I just can't for the life of me remember the name

I agree with Mr. Irony too. Only because he is absolutely correct! I used to watch this movie quiet often on video and even got to see it on cable again last year. The blond new wave kid in the movie is played by John Cameron Mitchell who grew up to create and direct 'Hedwig And The Angry Inch'. There's also a young Laren Holly. The movie came out in either '85 or '86 and was directed by Paul Michael Glaser, who played 'Starsky' on the tv show 'Starsky & Hutch'... ;-) Great fun/very moving movie!

Red Dawn is the correct answer. I think it had a corey in it too. I think it was Corey Feldman.
