Niki tears at my heart, her plight at being afraid she'll hurt her own son ,but Isaac's drugged painting has been very dramatic too,(plus he's so hot!). Actor-wise, I originally watched because of Milo Ventimiglia,(Peter Petrelli in the show). Milo was such a good "bad" boy on the Gilmore Girls,and I was sad his own spin-off got cancelled. I wasn't into that other show he did, but he is great on this, glad he got me interested in this! Isaac and Nathan are very sexy!

Claire... liked her just from the previews before the series began with her taking her jump and the "that was attempt # ..." Great attitude to have... and an interesting contrast she deals with - practical invulnerability, but yet she hates her powers.
And of course, bonus points for being the "anti-cheerleader" and not the shallow snobby stereotype.
Hiro is of course hilarious, mostly because he is at the opposite extreme Claire is with his way over the top zeal to use his powers.

I like Claire. Part of it is that Hayden Panettiere is a convincing actress, but the other part is that she deals with her problems well. She's not all "i wanna be a hero" like Hiro and Peter, and she doesn't use her powers for her own personal gain, like with Micah. She's very real.

I like Isaac a lot. I think it was gutsy for NBC to put a heroin addict in a prime-time show appealing to all ages, and I like the fact that he actually struggled for a few episodes before he got clean. Hiro is so funny that it's hard not to like him and I'm also starting to really like DL too.
