why dont men get over themselves and pay child support and stop coming up with excuses not to pay?

You just got your self a bad man!! I am taking it he is young. Most men who are older see the joy in being around their kids and do not mind paying. If he is older will he's a butt. Two things people do go thru hard times and have money problems and if you are letting the state collect the child support it will be only time before they are taking his taxes for you and everything. But it works both ways I am a single dad who does not get paid

Men have that attitude that since we got to choose to have the kids and they couldn't stop us from getting abortions that that should entitle them to not having to pay. They view us as being money grubbers that are grabbing at their wallets. It appears as though they forget that they were equally responsible in creating the child and they need to help provide financially for the child regardless of whether they want to be in the child's life or not...

So many of us must deal with providing for our children withoutt their astray parent providing. The parent who is fortunate enough to raise the children must go withou necessities for themselves as do the children. The absent parent spends money on others, drugs, alcohol, and everything but their children. Many have jobs where their employer does not take taxes out. The awful thing is that those absentees who do not pay taxes, may draw social security disability even though they did not pay. I got back support coming when my children were 26 and 27, only because my ex was attempting to pay enough taxes to draw disability. He worked two years and paid taxes only for those two years. Sick isn't it?

Why don't women stop putting out for guys who aren't willing or capable of being a man and father to a child?

If women weren't putting out for any bum they could drag to bed there wouldn't be any need for child support.
