I was thinking of getting it and was wondering if anyone had some input to share.

Well, the thing is, I barely ever make phone calls, so I wouldn't get my money's worth out of a monthly fee.

If you're going to spend $100 on a phone, you might as well get a real phone plan through Sprint or Cingular. Not only will you get better service, but you'll also be saving tons of cash in the long run.

Virgin Mobile costs you 18 cents a minute.

Sprint costs you 8 cents a minute (or thereabouts) on their lowest, least economical plan. Aside from that, with sprint (or pretty much any carrier) you get free nights and weekends, and you can get phones that cost MUCH less than $100 that have a camera.
