5 abiotic factors this means things that are non living that affect a farm -- mountains, weather, soil, erosion, air pollution, acid rain, water table

5 biotic factors means things that are living that may affect a farm --- too many animals, too many people, wild animals, pets--cats in particular that hunt song birds ---, trees, all may effect how a farm might succeed or fail. Introduced exotic (non-native birds and plants ruin entire systems....)

a catastrophic event --- a tornado, an oil spill, pollution of the wells, or the overuse of the aquifer (look it up), non rotation of crops wearing out the soil, straight rows are more prone to soil and wind erosion, the soil blows away, and the farm is now about useless....

the biggest catastrophic event will be global warming, changing the rainfall in all areas of farm-able lands, and man is doing that even now.....oceans are warming, temperatures are changing, even ice in Antarctica is melting. In the next 100 years, lots of cities on coastal areas will be under several feet of water. and cities like Venice in Italy, will cease to exist.... (the ocean has risen several fractions of an inch just in the last 100 years... look it up.)

renewables resource (plants)--- any crop, any forest, the soil if not allowed to become totally depleted, even the aquifer if rain water is allowed to collect and make its way down to the water table
renewable resources (animals) cattle, pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, etc.
