Currently (for winter) Lincoln Park After Dark and I Don't Do Dishes, both by OPI.
Lincoln Park After Dark is a very deep purple. Its a nice contrast if you have fair skin. I think its very sexy on longer, squared nails :)
I Don't Do Dishes is my favorite red polish from OPI. Its also good for fair skin, again because of the contrast. It looks best on longer, square nails also.

I personally love a french manicure. It goes with anything. My husband (and almost every man I know) loves red polish. So... it depends, are you wanting to look attractive for someone or do you just want to look good for you?

i like all kinds i think its fun to change all the time
most of the time i use dark colors with a bright colored design on them

i normally only paint mine a light peach, pink, or some other shiny metallic color in that same category
