That this is not just something happening in third world countries. It is happening in the most developed countries as well. There is no excuse for this--the US government pays farmers to grow less food--what's that all about?

a government that just doesnt care about their own people, World hunger is an ungodly, disgrace to all humankind. To starve is unimaginable in american culture. Our biggest worry is are we overweight. Sad, sad, sad. When i heard alot of the money from live aid didnt even go to help the starving, i felt so selfish that we can eat cheesburgers and they have nothing.
Biggest disappointment on this earth.

Its hard to explain world hunger, when food is all around us...
the best way to explain is to show them documentaries of Third world countries.

Lots of people starving.
Lots of people not caring.
Lets send them some MREs!
At least someone will eat them, God knows I won't.
Oh.. they can have my scraps too... I'm not finishing those ribs, they're burned. Dogs won't even eat them.
Bet the starving people in Ethiopia will.

i say lets put all the mcdonalds in them poor countries n let them skinny dudes eat all that nasty greasy grossness people here eat everyday...cus man people here gotta be pretty dang hungry to eat that nasty crap...

people not being able to afford food so they eat everything that they can (within reason) but are still in famine
