I think CCrider77 is talking about Andrew Johnson. But Andrew Jackson was a pretty big pig, too. He's the one who came up with the Indian Removal Act, stole a hundred million acres of land from the Native Americans, and sent all those Cherokees on the Trail of Tears.

My least favorite was Andrew Johnson (D), who was the first to be impeached. He took office after Lincoln was assassinated and did nothing to aid the freed slaves in their transition from the captivity of plantations to normal free life. He vetoed the first civil rights bill and was opposed to the 14th Ammendment granting U.S. Citizenship to naturalized and native born blacks. He was a hateful, intolerant man who was put in power by an act of violence and deserved to be impeached. Sadly the Senate fell one vote short and he couldn't be removed.

Although you didn't ask, my second least favorite was the second man to ever be impeached; Bill Clinton (D). Bill had a pattern of sexually harrassing women going way back to his days as Attorney General in Arkansas. This pattern of irresponsible and illegal behavior continued well into the oval office where he had sexual encounters with the now infamous Monica Lewinsky. He was impeached for lying under oath before a federal grand jury, but like Johnson, was not removed from office, although he was fined and dis-barred as an attorney.

Richard Nixon (R) is also high on my list, but I cut him some slack for resigning and not dragging the country through a lame defense of his criminal activities.

That would have to be Jimmy Carter. He was very weak when the hostages were taken in Iran. Those people were held for 444 days and only released when Reagan was sworn in. They knew that Ronnie would have no problem kicking the crap out of them if they were not released. He was also weak on the economy. We suffered with double digit inflation and double digit unemployment. It took Reaganomics to bring us out of a horrible economy.

Woodrow Wilson. i think he was such a bad president. i can't stand the man. first of all he praised a birth of a nation which praised the KKK, he involved us in WW1, did nothing in the Ludlow Massacre, was a rascist, didn't think women were good enough for him. i dislike him for this and much more.

maximum popular-FDR. He led the country from the depths of the large melancholy via international conflict II. Least popular: George W. Bush. His terrible track checklist speaks for itself.
