ok, if Adam and Eve were white, then how did blacks, mexicans and chinese become???
i've just been wondering that for the freaking longest time. sorry people, i',m NOT tryin to be racis!

a good answer. First of all your misconception that Adam and
Eve were white was probably passed down by your social
environment in which you were raised by. What temperate hot
countries have you seen where the people are white? Open
your mind and think for a second. Less melanin pigment is
seen as you move closer to colder climate. The mutation for
skin color is actually the lack of the gene. You can't produce
a colored species from one that does not have a gene for color
but you can produce a white from a species with skin color,
that's how we get albino,'s . An example of a mutation. So
you see your ancestor's were people of color. We all came
from the same pile. As for the stupidity of decendants of Cain.
If Adam and Eve were the only people on earth, where would
Cain find a mate. You cannot reproduce with the animals, they
are not of the same species.

I understand you are not being racist. The first people were of a darker tone, being from Africa. The reason is due to how close they were to the equator. They had slightly dry hair. As time progressed these people move to different areas. Thus the further they got away, after generations the physical features changed. Hair became more moist, and the skin began to lighten. The Earths temperature was not as warm as it is now so I would not say that they were very dark, but a brownish color similar to Arab decent.

I have the correct answer to this question, and it comes straight from the Bible, straight from God! Adam and Eve were fair skinned. After Cain killed his brother Abel, God banished him and marked him with a curse of black skin as punishment and to distinguish Cain's wicked progeny from Adam and Eve's righteous, light skinned children. Cain's "mark" was black skin, and Cain's descendants today are black and still under Cain's curse. I'm sure there are people who won't believe this but it is God's word and it does explain how the black race began.

im sure you think they are white because of artistic depictions. if you go to christian areas of other parts of the world, you will see adam & eve depicted like the people of that area. so you probably go to a church where they are depicted white. i dont believe it says in the bible that they are white. it is ok to think they are white. or to think they look like you. people relate to things that are similar to them. but they might not have been white. no one knows. i also think that if you ask about how different races come, you should think about how some people have curly hair and some people have straight hair. we are all different. some people have white skin. some people have dark skin. we are all gods children.

im not trying to be racist BUT why do white people swear up and down that Cleopatra was a white woman? Cleopatra was in egypt....a country in the continent of Africa....she had slaves and they were white...but ive been wondering this for longest time...

Because the people were trying to build a "stair way" to heaven and God didn't want them to do this so he made everyone look different and gave them all different languages so that people couldn't understand each other so that it was complete chaos so they couldn't continue.

I heard the blacks were decended from Cain. I'm not trying to be prejudice either and its not meant to make them bad. I'll have to look into it as the source may have been a prejudiced person.
