Because George W. Bush and his croonies "broke" Iraq. I'm not saying Saddam Hussein was good for Iraq or the world, but he managed to keep some type of order in Iraq. America is in Iraq to ensure Iraqi oil flows to the world markets, to ensure terrorists organizations such Al-Qaeda don't set-up "shop" in a war-torn Iraq, and to prevent Iran from taking over Iraq.

Because we learned nothing from Vietnam. Democracy does not work for all cultures. I love our country and the freedoms our constitution provides. It works for our country. History has proven it does not work for all. Until we stop being so egocentric, we will continue to get involved in conflicts without clear resolutions. All people do not think and believe as we do. It is wrong to expect them to.

because bush wants to make up for his father's failures in the middle east, but just like his father, it seems he screwed up. We shouldn't have gone there in the first place, but its too late now, and we have to help them. If we went to war with every threat, Russia would have killed us all a long time ago.
EDIT: I believe we should stay out of other countrys problems, unless they interfer with us. They live like that because of their religion. If they hated it, they would move.
