The number of atoms of a particular sample of one element can be found by dividing the number of grams you have of the sample by the molar mass of the element, then multiplying your answer by Avogadro's number (6.022 x 12 to the 23rd power).

If it is the sample of the "element", then theoretically only the atoms of that element are in there. Rality is that there are usually impurities
