Faber College.

And you have a long way to go; 9th grade isn't that big of a deal. Try doing some community service instead of posting your alleged grades on the internet.

Your grades are basically perfect except is your gpa unweighted or weighted? If you're taking that many honors classes, your weighted should be above a 4.0. Even though grades are important and essential, don't forget to be active OUTSIDE of school. Take interest in something within your community or join some clubs.

Where you want to go really depends on what you would like to do for a living. You don't go to a medical school just because your grades will allow you to. Think more about your future career and direct yourself that way. There are thousands of colleges out there but it's hard to choose based solely on grades. Research a little more.

Ok..First off, I dont think you need to stress out too much about it. You're still going to be a junior and you've already achieved such great grades and an outstanding GPA. Be sure to ante-up on your extracurriculars and keep your grades up. Pass those AP tests and do well on the SATs. With that GPA and still ranked 44? You'll be able to make it for sure. I had a 4.4 coming out of high school in 2006, and I was 15th in my class so that tells you soemthing about my school but with your GPA and a 44th rank, you're school must be pretty difficult. You'll be fine. Just keep everything up and you'll succeed.

If you are first in your class, why are you asking this question? Isn't it obvious that your class rank is OK?

GPA and class rank are important for getting into a great school. However, other things matter as well. SAT scores are important. None of your activities involve other people. Get more involved.

The quality of your classes is important. Taking as many AP classes as possible will help you. Students entering top schools will have already had Calculus by the time they get to college. Why are you planning on taking precalculus as a senior?

In all honesty, class ranking doesn't count for alot anymore. It's more about the quality of classes you took. Such as sciences and the like. Ranking has been found to be flawed because usually it us unweighted and much of the time people that take art and gym and get good grades will outrank people who were in college level courses their entire high school career. You best bet to get into a really good college is to NAIL the ACTs/SATs, to take as many AP classes as possible, having plenty of extra curriculars, and get college credit in high school.

What are your goals in the sense of what you want to study? I think joining a club is great. I think you should spend some time brainstorming on what you also want to study and maybe get some sort of after school or weekend internship to go the extra mile. For example, do you want to go into Engineering... search top schools for that MIT, etc. Law? Medicine?
You have excellent grades. Good job. You say you live near Reno. Do you want to go to a state school near you.
I think if you are this ambitous then you should look into more top schools in the program that you would like to study forgetting where the location is....
Good Luck.
