I need a good movie that has something to do with economics (principles, ideas, etc...). Example: A Beautiful Mind.

Warren Beatty's "Reds". It's about the rise of Communism with a love triangle thrown in. A long film, broken up with interviews of actual contemporaries of the major players.
Then there's Alec Guiness in "The Man In The White Suit". This guy invents this "indestructable" fiber and becomes the target of all the textile-barons who see it as a threat to their business interests. "The Formula" with Brando (?) involves a formula for cheap fuel which, of course, never sees the light of day.
I think there was an animated film based on George Orwell's "Animal Farm", too. This is an anti-communist/socialist-themed film.
Economics is part of most everything. There's a lot of character motivation to be found ("...Greed is good.", Gordon Gecko from "Wall Street"....).

boiler room with vin diesel isnt bad it is about stock brokers and stuff although it gets off the trak abit because it is about fraud etc
