I saw a site that said as of April 25 2003, 28 states have banned spanking in all public schools, but they had no link to see if my state(Missouri) is one of them.

I don't think hitting someone else's kids is right. Why would it be constitutional in the first place? I would be furious of some teacher had the nerve to hit my kid. Thats assault!

No...but you can request through the school office that your child be put on their 'no spank' list. If your child's name is on this list...they can not spank them but they will probably give them ISS or detention. I live in S.E. Missouri with 2 boys in high school...I know they spank and not lightly either. But my boys chose paddling over a day of ISS which they seem to hate more...go figure...lol

I had no theory there have been nonetheless places in NA that allowed corporal punishment in faculties. In my neck of the woods, that is dicey if even mom and dad are allowed to spank their childrens, much less college team. i myself think of that spanking judgements could be on the discretion of the mummy and dad, no longer the state.

I certainly hope so. I might be in the minority, but I feel that no one other than the child's parents have the right to administer corporal punishment.
