How do degrees earned at foreign colleges measure up in the US academic and work communities?

believe it or not... i have never actually have someone say that to me...
one time a friend and i had a discussion about whether i should be "Page 1" or "Page 3" because in some books the actual story doesnt start to around Page 3 becasue of all the chapter contents and stuff.

errr. yeah. that sounds lame.

Depends on the degree and the college. Just like schools within the US, there's a wide variation.
