It's so difficult, but if I had to respond with just one answer I'd have to say "She's Always A Woman". The lyrics and flow are brilliant. Gives me chills down my spine to this day. If I had more choices that lineup would include "She's Got A Way", "Don't Ask Me Why", "Travelin' Prayer", "You're My Home" and "Summer Highland Falls"...amongst others...:

If you'd like to put more than one song down, put them in a list according to your favorites, with 1 being best and, oh, 12 being your twelfth favorite, or something like that. =)

Sorry, Charlie. The Yahoo Dictators won't let me for another four hours. Nonetheless, your response is quite brilliant...yet not, somehow...=)

..probably My Life and She's Got A Way. The lyrics and music flow almost immediately together. Also, they fit my own life, and they still do. The latter I played for my girlfriemd, so that will always be closer than most of the other songs.

Only the Good Die Young
It was a favorite of an old gf of mine who did die way too young. Still makes me cry 20 years later.

I love Uptown Girl and then all of the music from Movin' Out incredibly powerful music.

Uptown Girl because that came out when I was in High school and it was just so fun...many happy memories from it.

The rest because I remember the Vietnam War and the music was just so telling about that time period.
