Ok last yr in late january 1 night when hubby went down to the local store phone rang it was a girl she ask if ronny was home and when i said no who is this she hung up on me immediately..Well for a few months i questioned him about this and he said many many times he didnt know anything about it..Been happily married 16 yrs to this wonderful man and i know he would never cheat or give another girl his number..It was just a weird call..About 3 or 4 months after the call 1 night he said "im all yours you have nothing to worry about' and i said what do u think i would be worry about and he said i dont know..the next day i ask him what made him say that to me the night before and he said.." u was worried about that phone call and i told u i know/knew nothing about it(cant exactly remember what word he used)That kinda made me suspicious as to why he said that to me BUT my mom says he was just trying to reassure me by saying that..Any thoughts on this.

Don't second guess him, second guess your intuition. Are there times when you don't know what he is doing outside of work or your home life??? That is what will give you the clue, things that just don't add up. Use your inner judgment and it will never let you down.

Unless you two were having problems with it up until that point why would he try to " reassure" you 3 to 4 months later ? Sounds suspicious to me. I would be questioning why a woman called my home asking for my husband by name and hung up on me when I asked who it was, if there is nothing to hide then why the hang up ?

you have been married to him for 16 years, have you been happy for the most part? are you still happy for the most part , apart from this question in ur mind?
people call wrong numbers all the time!
in your question you said you know he would never cheet on you and that he is a wonderful man, so I think you know the answer to this question already, but it's natural to feel insecure at times, I was married to a man the was faithful to me for 16 years, and never once did I think he would cheat on me, he never did to my knowledge, but every now and then I thought to my self, why not? why is he so faithful to me when there are so many other women offering it to him on a place.
If I were you I would enjoy my marriage and not give it another thought, as he obviously cares about you enough to want to re asure you.
*hugs*

Yes l agree with your mum. l would say that he sensed your concern about this weird phone call and just wanted to reassure you about his love for you only. Stop stressing l'm sure you have nothing to worry about, it sounds to me that he honestly loves only you. Best of luck

I kinda know what you are going through. My best advice is to go with your gut. Chances are that you already know deep down what the truth is. It is very hard but Trust me you are the only one who knows what is best for you. I hope everything works out. take care.

If it happened a 2nd time I would worry. He is probably upset because he felt that you lost your trust in him. Maybe he is insecure and needs your attention. Take care Heather
