Depends on what you mean by "better." Better for a career that will make you a millionaire by thirty? Better for the wellbeing of the country? Better meaning "more useful?" Each has excellent qualities--be well-rounded and enjoy them all.

It depends on the individual. Some people are more artistic, whereas others are more mathematically inclined, while still others prefer the humanities. Personally I feel quite balanced between all three - I love Maths, did my degree in Psychology and am a freelance writer so I get a bit of everything. You need to do what you feel comfortable with or, if like me you like everything, then find a way to balance your interests. I was actually told at school though that Psychology was a good career option for balancing my humanities/artistic inclinations with my mathematical and logical inclinations. My advice though is to follow your passions and you will find what is best for you.

Art is part of the Humanities. Better for what? The question of which is better is too vague. In building a functional bridge that won't collapse, I'd say that mathematics is better. In building a bridge that is aesthetically pleasing, I'd say that the Humanities is better. It's all according to what you're talking about.

I think each field of studies have their own ways of searching for knowledge as well as new contribution to the world of scholarship, thus, it is not easy to answer/conclude that maths is better than humanities or art, I mean it depends especially on the attitude and aptitude of those going to study or studying his/her selected field. As a father of two grown-up children, I gave advice and the rest was his/her decision since they themselves studied to finish the courses , not me. One more thing, I view every field as of equal importance since each tends to support one another in some ways, more or less.

Unless you have special talent for art, I would say math. If you don't do well with math, then humanities is the best choice.

Whatever you're best at and like doing the most. I'm great at all three, but humanities are probably my favorite.
