I have my name spelt wrongly in the elections voters list?

Last time i had sent a request by mail to make the necessary changes, till this election the same has not been done. I would like to know the right procedure to get my name correctly spelt in the next elections.

Don't worry it's not u who did that, it must be the employees of the election commission ........ they often do such mistake just complaint for that and make sure this time while u give the name it should contain the name in English and the regional language too. so that, they don't do the same mistake again even if it is not you're fault.

Sorry to have to be the one to make this comment, but you spelled the word "spelled" incorrectly. Though spelt would have been a pronunciation of "SPELLED", it is not the spelling of it.

I have dealt with bureaucracy on several levels here in the U.S., and there is no substitute for standing in front of a clerk or registrar and ensuring that they do their job correctly. I know it takes time, but sometimes if you want the job done right, you have to do it yourself...
