Blair is a hero and certainly not a failure. Britain and Israel are strong allies and should remain so for many reasons. Pick up a history book and educate yourself.

The assumption that Blair is somehow a failure in the Middle East is a fallacy. Blair cannot be held responsible for the insanity that reigns in the MIddle East any more that you or I. You can question the ethical or political reasoning behind envolving Britian in an armed conflict, but the reality of it is Blair was only upholding a NATO agreement to come to the aid of a fellow NATO ally who was attacked. Granted I don't agree with Bush's choice of targets, I think he's trying monopolize a fair portion of the world's oil supply in Afganastan & Iraq, but realistically the U.S. had to go upside somebody's head for 9/11. Claiming Blair somehow failed in the Middle East is giving Blair undue authority.
As for the Arab/Israeli issue, those that manipulate the Middle East will fight until the last Palestinian and/or Jew is dead. It is old school politics to let other people do the dying for you, and while Exon Mobil or Islamic clerics or whoever is trying to pull the strings over there do their business, they fan the flames bias and bigotry into a violent bloody smoke screen.
It's sort of like how Britain played the Catholics off against the Prodestents in Ireland in order to control the Irish. Power brokers play the Arabs off against the Jews, and while the world watches the violence, they do their business unhindered by the public eye. It is unfortunate that the hatred between Arabs and Jews so overwhelms and blinds them to their own sitituation.
You cannot reason with unreasonable people, it is a mistake to try. On this issue the Blogbaba has to give it up to God. Clearly the demonic nature of such hatred as found between the Arabs and Jews is nothing reasonable. The very nature of such evil is beyond the understanding of any rational secular person. Without divine protection, anyone would be warped and corrupted by such circumstances. It is impossible for most to understand that violence is not the answer to such a place. I don't mean to tell anyone right from wrong, but reguardless of your faith, you know it when you see it.
I don't accept the Arab/Israeli issue as central to many of the world's problems, in truth, it is central only to Arabs and Jews. No one else really cares how many Arabs blow themselves up killing Jews or how many get blown up by Jews flying American Planes, so long as no one in their families die. For those not directly envolved it's like a sick video game with no real attachment to the people who die as being human beings. If people, (myself included) could get past the hatred, we might have a chance at something other than bloodshed, but the prospects don't look any better today than they did when a Palestinian shot Bobby Kennedy, and forever turned the majority of the American public against the Palestinian cause. The hatred feeds off itself, growing with each act of insanity. From the marine compound in Lebanon in the eighties (I was active U.S. military during that time frame) to 9/11 American hatred of Islamic fundalmentalism is almost as great as their hatred of us.
I got no answers for that part of the world. I pray I am wrong, but it looks more and more like Iran will eventually get the nuke they claim they aren't trying to build. The only question is will it be built by them, or targeted at them. To most American's North Korea is a bad joke. America is so selfabsorbed most of us figure a worst case senario is North Korea nukes Japan, and in truth, the average U.S. citizen could care less. Lip service to morality aside, people in general are so selfish, they are destroying the planet for a quick buck, to you really think a tin horn with some fire crackers on the other side of the world is real to any of the average joes? The puppet is more famous than Kim over here, he's a joke. Until he invades South Korea and starts killing American's he will stay a joke. This answer is getting to long, so here's where I end.

First, "justice," Palestine doesn't exist. Palestinians, as these Muslims are called, are refugees from Syria, Iran, Iraq and other Muslim nations in the area that don't want you, either. That Palestinians were the original occupants of Israel is a myth. Of course, you know this.
Second, I find it hard to believe that anti-Semitic, Jew haters like yourself still exist in such numbers.

1) Arabs aren't the persecuted, they are the persecutors.
2) The envoy's religion isn't the problem. Arab intransigence is the problem. Arab's unwillingness to keep a single promise they have ever made concerning Israel & Jews is the problem. There is no diplomatic solution because the Arab's goal is to destroy Israel.

possibly his grasp plan is to strengthen the ecu to incorporate Israel and the Palestinian lands, then flood them with financial migrants from jap Europe. Then no person is conscious what usa they're in to any extent further and Tony gets appointed ecu President.

Israel didn't exist as state before 1948, therefore please don't say that there will never be the Palestinian State. Just because Palestinians have lived as tribes, as Jewish did, doesn't mean they have no right for freedom and independence.
Israel was established as an independent state just because British and French wanted so.

He sealed his fate when he became Bush's yes man in Great Britain. What makes you think Bush or Blair want peace in the Middle East? If peace broke out, they would have no excuse to go in & take over the region.

i dont think israel is causing the problems, i think it's just an easy thing for middle eastern countries to be against, to avoid their problems (such as not having democracy or the basic rights we enjoy)
