What is your opinion on natural or unnatural factors that determine the conscious presence we have in our individual bodies? What do you feel determines which pair of eyes you will look through? Is it possible that we are merely energy fields that migrate from host to host as we die?

The sensation of consciousness is likely an emergent phenomena owing to the physical structure of the brain and the body's nervous system. Tampering with either of these systems often results in a very different conscious experience for the host, or, in some cases, dramatic temperament or personality changes.

There's no evidence that our consciousness exists independent of our bodies, as "energy fields" or otherwise. (In fact, there is no notion of "energy fields," in the realm of physics; the term is introduced by spiritualists.) But, rather, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.
