I'm always the last one with everything, I'm the youngest, shortest, skinniest, lightest, last one to get my period, and I'm sick of it.
I only weigh 64 pounds, at 5"0, but it's not my fault, I eat normal, but I just don't gain, I am 14 years old. I'm sick of people saying are you anorexic, or how much do you weigh, or can I carry you, I don't want to gain any weight, but I don't want to lose any either, anyways my point is am I skinny, fat, very fat, or too skinny, or normal?

Don't feel bad. I had the same problem at your age. By the time I started high school I weighed about 85, and I'm 5' 3". I didn't break 100 until after I started college. People thought I was anorexic or didn't eat. But my family and friends that saw me eat knew I actually ate quite a bit, but just didn't gain weight. I just had a high metabolism.

As far as the period thing, that is actually a very good thing. There is evidence that the later you start your period, the lower the risk of developing breast cancer. So, that's a good thing! I was late starting mine as well.

But I tell you what, it's a good thing to be that skinny that young in a way because as you get older your metabolism WILL start slowing down and you will gradually start gaining weight. But at least you will have that advantage and it will be easier to maintain your weight once you hit your 30's, 40's and beyond.

Most people struggle with weight - even in their teens.

I know it's frustrating. It was for me too, but it's fine. It's just that you have a high metabolism.

Now having said all that, you may want to have your thyroid checked to make sure you aren't hyperthyroid. There could be that or a different underlying medical issue. But if there aren't any issues, don't sweat it. You will gain weight in time, don't worry.

You are normal and accept the way you are.Its no big deal being the last to get periods. You have the rest of your life to cope with those.

aww don't feel sad... i am thin too and feel like this too.
people are just annoying sometimes... i am always accused of having anorexia and stuff but i try to ignore it.
you are underweight but i wouldn't worry about it. just continue eating healthily and exercusing regularly and you'll be fine!!

remember, being skinny is not a bad thing! as long as you aren't depriving yourself, you'll be okay!

hope i helped!!
:)
