What is the better option: Telling the truth as to why you want to end it, or to ignore the person entirely?

I had a friend who betrayed my trust twice. Realized that forgiving this person for a second time to repair our friendship isn't worth it, because this person avoids the situation fully by either walking away or abruptly chagning the subject.

Your friend knows very well that her behaviour was not correct towards you and since this person does not want to learn from her mistakes, let go and I wouldn't even bother to give an explanation: Frienship is over it also happens with love for partner. Thats life!!!! Life is full of experiences good and bad. The important thing that you will always be a good friend for someone who deserves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on why you want to end the friendship.
For example, if your soon to be ex friend was a thief, I would probably tell her 'because you stole my 'x'.
however if it was because you find her morals to be uncompatible I would probably just make myself very busy when she calls you to go to the bar and screw mystery men.
EITHER way, dont stop speaking entirely.
Just get really busy and put her on minimum contact status.
YOU want to be careful not to turn her into an enemy since she probably knows alot of dirt on you and you dont want your personal business getting out via her mouth because she is hurt at being slighted

Maybe your friend is just afraid that this friendship might end. So, she kips changing the topic and walking out.... Try to talk to her bout this and if she changes the topic or walk out again kip bringing up this problem or just talk to her on the phone...

Goodluck!!!

If they are completly ignoring you. Then I would completly ignore them. Do unto other's as you would have them do unto you.
