You could try a vitamin -E oil, with a tube applicator that you roll on over your lips. Look for a high unit number of E- content. The film it leaves is thicker than that left by petroleum jelly products, more penetrating, and lasts longer, plus it promotes healing.
As to the saliva, blot it away whenever necessary with a tissue, or better, a handkerchief, applied to the lips very lightly, and then re-apply the skin care.
Lips should not chap constantly unless you are in a very dry environment or there is a lack of moisture in your skin.
Ask a doctor about emollients that may help you, and also ask about your habit of rubbing the skin away every morning.
I would stop rubbing away the skin, anyway, as you may be removing parts that are helping to cover and heal the damaged areas, and thus it never gets a chance to fully heal.

I think i have the same problem. I don't think it is actually saliva. I think it is dead skin. I noticed that certain toothpastes i used made it worse. Colgate seems to work better for me at reducing that stuff. But how to completely get rid of it, that is what i'd like to know.

I usually lick that area where the line usually appears immediately after i apply gloss. I find if u keep it moist (with saliva), the line doesn't form.

evidently, theres no thank you to no longer have a messy kiss while you're donning lipgloss. only positioned on chapstick, maximum adult adult males do no longer observe your lips in the event that they're common! They get greater grew to become off if theres numerous lipgloss on them!
