How do I find out what year my yamaha yz 250 is?

Find the model production year, usually found on the same plate as the vin. Then add one year. For instance if the bike was produced in 2001, then its a 2002 model.

The 10th digit in a VIN represents the year. This is the code.

It should be stamped on the Complince/ Build plate on the front right side of the frame. Do not add one year to get the model year.
Bikes will change their model run late in the year eg 11 month 2006 may be designated 2007 but it is still a 2006 build. If you need to order parts supply the Month and Year to the shop, they will be able to work it out.

There should be a serial # stamped on the frame in front of the
gas tank. Write it down and then call a Yamaha dealor and they
can tell U.

Look on the title or registration. If you get stopped by a cop, they'll run the plate number. After he writes you up, just ask: "Hey PIG, what year is this cycle anyways??? NO ya stupid PIG, I didn't ASK you to whip out your handcuffs, I said what YEAR is my bike? Are you fukkin' deaf????"

on the front of the bike eather on the forks or on the frame be hind the forks it should tell u if not there maybe under the seat but im pritty shour its up front
