If I remember correctly, the excuse Bush gave for us going in there in the first place was "weapons of mass destruction" even though he had access to intelligence reports that said they were nonexistent. So how did Iraq become the great terrorist-fighting arena? Wasn't it the Taliban in Afgahnistan that was supporting Bin Laden? Of all the militant Islamic nations in the Middle East, wasn't Iraq a fairly secular country? Is Dubya hoping that we forgot? Or what????
By the way, let's not simplify this question by talking about how bad Sadam was. We all know there are horrible men like him in many other countries that we aren't choosing to invade.

And why can't some people have a civilized, intelligent debate or disagreement without resorting to name-calling? Are they that insecure in what they believe that they feel it necessary to attack someone else by calling them "idiot"? It's a shame and it does nothing to improve their credibility.
