This is a question worth considerable thought as the primaries approach. It is an issue of accountability we need to address.

Barack Obama didn't vote for the war.
I agree that they should be held accountable.
Besides, there isn't a single person who has been in congress since 2002 (when they voted on the Iraq War) that isn't corrupt. So vote for the new blood, the inspiring speaker, and the person who wants only to do good for all Americans... Barack Obama.

First take an objective look at the Islamic militants, your going to fight them somewhere. If we pull out of Iraq they will just increase their presence in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Their stated objective in their words is to kill Americans anywhere and everywhere they can. If we leave Iraq, they will just hit us in another location. Thinking that pulling out of Iraq will make them happy and all will be peaceful is just wishful thinking.
To g- It was not Bush's information, it was the worlds. France, Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany, the UN, and Senator Kerry and last but not least President Clinton all stated that Iraq had WMDS. And the intelligence service that got this supposedly bad info was gathered mostly during the Clinton years. I also believe that thousands of dead Kurds would tell you Saddam had them too, if they could talk. Either be willing to fight this war, or buy a prayer mat, your choice.

We went to war under false pretenses from Bush. Congress was like the rest of us, we couldn't see the whole herd, because he pulled the wool over our eyes.

Because we were given false information. Had we the real deal, things would have been different. The are doing the best they could with what they had, and they regret it because they put faith in that god-less man.

well... that would pretty much rule out any congressman... and I'm not quite willing to do that on that one issue...

many people supported it based on Bush's evidence... but it turns out the evidence wasn't correct...
