I'm looking for the artist and title of a song, i don't know the whole thing just 2 small parts. one part goes something like "I want you to be my lover" and the other part goes something like "and these lips won't kiss another" thats all i know, i love that song but i can't remember who sings it and its been awhile since i heard it if anyone knows who it is or the song name please tell me. thank you!

In the music video it starts out with 2 people on opposite sides of a wall and the lyrics are saying something like "burning holes into these walls"
or sumin like that. the singer is a black guy with an old fashioned loooking stage mic. its a kind of fast paced song with i guess a pop/rock tune to it

The first one is most likely "1 2 3 4 I Love You" by the Plain White T's. Don't know about the second one.
