I'm not sure entirely where you were heading with this question, whether you believe it is or not, but I know for a fact that it isn't.
HIM never stood for His Infernal Majesty, it was something made up by their fans. The band name in all reality was a joke, and Ville himself said he didn't know what it stood for, and that he'd lost track of all the things they had made up for it. The heartagram was never meant to look like a pentagram, and can only be mistaken so from a distance (My necklace has been mistaken for such a symbol a few times), and the recurring number 666 in their songs has nothing to do with Satan. Ville has said that it stands for 666 different ways to love, nothing to do with Hell. Their songs do indeed revolve around love and death, but not physical death. The songs mean love as a sanctuary, and death as a death of the soul when one does not have it.
So there's my take on it all, and how I look at them.
