Hazardous jobs like on plantations n mines.. I've heard of children as young as five working 6 days a week from 6 in the morning to late in the evening just for $3 n many of them suffer from swollen n broken fingers...while some girls work as prostitutEs n they r not necessarily paid...How do these children even survive ? Their parents r most likely dying from Aids n they have no one to depend on... how can this be stopped?

Send in the US Army. We'll take care of it.

Well, as cruel as it sounds in alot of cases they have to do this to survive. These children in some cases are working to help bring in money and food for the family at home. Take away their jobs and you take away their lives.
Then there are other more extreme cases. Children who are actually bought by these companies from their own parents or even orphan-homes and forced to work as slaves. They are not paid anything...they are slaves. This doesnt just go on in Africa btw, it goes on around the world in virtually every country. Its probably even heavier in areas such as Indonesia.
I have no idea what can be done.
