I'm 18 and I already have one piercing that is compltly hidden (vch) and I'm considering getting my nipples pierced, but I still live with my grandmother & she completly disapproves piercings. She let me get 1 hole in each ear, I asked for a second one in my right ear & she said no, even though I'm 18. I know they wouldn't show if I wore a padded bra all the time, but that is seriously unrealistic. She would get real suspicious if I wore a bra with my night clothes (they are really revealing up top). Any suggestions? I heard about putting bandaids over them, but I thought (and sill believe) that is really bad for the healing process.

If you're always wearing bandaids over them, then yes it is bad. However, most girls that play sports need to put baindaids over those piercings to keep them from bleeding since there is so much movement/contact. I'd suggest wearing a padded bra as much as possible and other times just using bandaids.

I got mine done over a year ago, and I still live with my parents, who also disapprove of piercings. I've had no trouble hiding mine. There are other options besides just padded bras. . . Even if I just wear layered shirts or any bra, padded or not, they're not really that obvious. You might have to change your night clothes a little bit to adapt to covering them though, I generally just wear a couple shirts, or a sport bra under a shirt, or something, at least when I'm walking around before bed.

I guess I don't see why band-aids wouldn't work, but I wouldn't leave them on any longer than you absolutely had to.
