What would you do if you missent a text message to the party whom you are talking about?

Mistakes happen. What if you are chatting thru text messaging with your friend about a certain person and you get carried away, such that your message was accidentally sent to that guy whom you are talking about. And there's no denying that she/he is the topic. What is the best way to get past this situation?

Yeah mistakes happen, but text messaging and even talking can be controlled. If you didn't talk about others, you wouldn't have this problem. Rule of thumb: never say or do anything to or about anyone that you might (could) (would) regret later. As for the here and now, you know what you did and she knows what you did, she might accept an apology and then again, she might not, it is her call.

OOH, mea culpa. The only thing you can do is apologize. It will be up to the person to decide whether or not to forgive and forget. I wish there was more advice to give, but turn it around and think how you would feel. What would it take for you to forgive? Now you know why you shouldn't gossip.

ugh' damage is down. If u want to be friends still u have to be honest. Honesty is the best way to explain your feelings. If ur friends they'll understand why u said what u did.And get they're point of view =maybe u mis understood, Gossip gets way out of proportion.
that s why i use the "need to know only". Only tell those whom need to know, whom it may honesty involve.

LOL! So funny, that's happened to me before. All I did was started going way out with it like saying "yeah she's a real jerk, and she has 12 toes, and plus she thinks she's better than everyone". I went like all crazy on it and she thought I was just going off on a crazy joke.
