Supercharge a 2.8L?

Hahahahahaahhahahahahahahaa

I'm not hating. I've just worked on enough 2.8/3.1 engines to not respect them. With NOS, or any forced induction, the heads will lift. You won't be able to keep a set of head gaskets in it. And 2.8l blocks will split up the middle like a cookie when abused.

Why dont you just buy a later model V8 Camaro. For the cost of the kit and install you could get a mid 90's V8.

I'm almost positive that they don't make S/Cs for that engine. They did make S/Cs for the mid/late 90's V6 Camaros (4th Gen), but doubt they made anything for the 3rd Gen Camaros. I'd suggest either getting a newer Camaro, or getting a newer engine.

Have you thought of putting in a new crate V8 engine? you'd get the V8 rumble, power, and fun, and it would be less damaging to your car than supercharging it. Not sure what your budget is, but it's a good alternative!
