I will be working @ Camp Pendleton for a month and I don't want to miss my favorite show. I was wondering if anyone knows of a bar or pub that offers "The L Word" showings on Sundays. Thanks

I'd like to know of a bar o pub that will be showing my favorite show in the San Diego area. I'll be working in the area for a month and I don't want to miss any shows or wait for people to post them on youtube

In general, the safest neighborhoods in San Diego are north of the 8. There are some south of 54 and east of 805 though. However, no neighborhood is crime-proof as the recent Chelsea King story proved. There are plenty of community colleges in San Diego so being within driving distance of one is not a problem unless you live up in the mountains or in the desert. As for apartments, I have no idea what the rents are. You'll have to find an agent or start checking out the rental sites.

I was going to recommend an Lesbian bar on a sunday night. I guarantee they'll be showing it. However, you're going to be working at Camp Pendelton and last time I checked that place is for military personnel, and I think that's the same day I checked tosee if it was still a no-no to be 'openly' gay in the military or participate in any questionable activities.
The internet is probably your best bet for keeping up to date. I love the L word and have all 3 seasons on DVD and i also have them downloaded on my computer. So when I was in Iraq I could watch old episodes. I'm sure if you give it a go on a site like Limewire.com you could probably find someone who's downloaded some recent episodes. You should probably try and do that before you get to CP, because my guess is that the network won't let you get limewire.
You could always have someone record it to their DVR/TIVO/PC and burn it to disk if they have the hardware and then have them send it to you via a care package. it might be a couple of weeks behind but it's better than nothing.

you will have to wait for the dvd's to come out. but try looking up lezbian bars/pubs, they might show it in there.
