if you are in the 5th grade, you dont sound like it. you sound all smart and stuff. but if i were you, i would still see if that girl (or in my case, boy) likes me. thats mean, if my best friend said that in front of the WHOLE class. then, thats really not my best friend. i would be myself, and ask her. thanks for the scenario.

Well, the first thing you need to do is talk to this girl and see if you really like her for herself and not just because she is cute. If you feel like your getting in trouble could make you less attractive to this girl - cut it out. There is no real reason to get in trouble and at your age - it would be a good idea to break that way of living. By getting to know her - you will find out if she likes you and there isn't anything you can do to make her like you more other than treating her with respect and being yourself.

You're too young. When I was in 5th grade, I liked boys. But I didn't date them or anything. "Relationships" in 5th grade last as long as a few days. It's stupid.
Tell her how you feel if you want and you guys can get to know each other a little bit. Then when you guys are older, see if you can handle a relationship with her then.
You may think I'm crazy, but I was once in 5th grade. I know how these things work.

You have better grammar than most people and you're only 11 years old. Unless you're not 11 and are trying to help this kid out... or you're a child molester.
Anyways, 11 year old girls shouldn't be dating, but if you want to be friends with her you better start being nice and do things she likes. When they are teenagers then you should start being a tough guy and then they'll like you.

Hmm... You should be yourself, above all. Don't do things just to try to get her to like you unless you would continue doing them afterward. Just joke around with her a little and see if she laughs. If she does, joke around again with her some other time and see how she reacts. If she laughs and/or initiates more conversation or joking around, that's a good indication that she at least likes you some. But, it would probably score you some respect if you respect yourself enough to not deliberately get into trouble. It's not really a positively attractive quality to stir up trouble for yourself.

it's hard to say because being in 5th grade. but if you really like a girl, you have to find out if she likes you back. if she doesn't then u can always try to do things to impress her without making it look too obvious you like her. and mayb u should cut down on being a trouble-maker. depending on the girl, she may not go for that. dont act on your feelings unless you're sure she likes you back. u dont want to embarrass yourself in front of both your friends and her friends

Hon, you're in fifth grade!!! Take your mind off girls -- you have your whole life ahead of you to do so. Try to become friends with her, and take it from there. If you don't think about your crush, you'll be able to be more confident, maybe get into trouble less, and do better in school. She'll like you better if you aren't constantly trying to impress her (personal experience). Good luck!!!

Firstly, be her friend. All girls can do with another friend.
Eventually you will find out if she likes you or not, but either way you will have gained a friend (when you are older you will realise that whilst lovers come and go - a true friend will be yours forever).
As for getting in trouble, well, only you can fix that. Good luck!

Wow! You're 11 years old and you do have a lot on your mind!! Study, help her with homework and ask your Mom to bake her some cookies. That way, you can break the ice and get to know her.
