people only joke about these things because they feel they actually have control over what happens to the world, or even themselves, but the jokes will unfortunately end when they realize they aren't in control.

I'm not a "bible-thumping right-wing fruitbasket", but I do know what the Bible says, and I believe that this is the sign of the beast. I had to leave my last job at Boeing because they wanted me to get a chip inserted in my arm with my name, address, med history and all that junk in it inserted into my upper arm. Some of the other employees were griping about being digitally followed by the boss. I know we will all end up either getting it or starving to death in the end, but let's NOT go blindly with the flow.

Yes, sounds like trouble. Someone will just turn around and invent a gadget to use to walk past people and secretlly read their tattoo and collect their personal info. etc.

Hey,fact is that everything the bible has predicted has come true and will come true, The book of Revelation explains it well. And i love the Left Behind series by Tim lahay, and Jerry B. Jenkins. Its biblical and also real. People dont see whats going on. Its happening right now. I wish people would put away there proud and try to find the truth. But either way it will happen and it will be bad. Everyone knows about it, but they ignore the fact that we are getting closer and closer to it.

Will people be so gullible to not recognize a power munger, versus evangelical. Additionally the premise of the question should have been made to where all would understand it more clearly. The answer is NO Bush is not the "anti-Christ", he is just a puppet for Satan
temporarily.

It's just another sign of the times and as long as you know you're right with God and have Christ in your heart then there's nothing to be scared of. As long as you know where you stand then it's exciting!!!

Yep, kinda scary...

The Bible warns that getting the "mark of the beast" will mark you as Satan's property forever, but if you refuse the mark you will be beheaded, and your soul will be saved.

I think most people like it.

I don't, but just because it's a little too Orwellian.
