Tell me if you like it, and if you do star me please, if you like too. thanks

No matter what they tell us
No matter what they do
No matter what they teach us
What we believe is true
No matter what they call us
However they attack
No matter where they take us
Well find our own way back
I cant deny what 1 believe
I cant be what Im not
I know Ill love forever, I know -
No matter what.

If only tears were laughter
If only night was day
If only prayers were answered.
Then we would hear God say:
No matter what they tell you
No matter what they do
No matter what they teach you
What you believe is true

And I will keep you safe and strong
And sheltered from the storm
No matter where its barren
A dream is being born
No matter where they follow
No matter where they lead
No matter how they judge us
Ill be everyone you need
No matter if the sun dont shine
Or if the skies are blue
No matter what the ending
My life began with you

I cant deny what I believe
I cant be what Im not
I know this loves forever
I know no matter what
I cant deny what believe
I cant be what Im not
I know this loves forever
Thats all that matters now

I think this is another of the songs that dreams of the utopia, which in the end is basically finding his sense of identity and finding love. The words do seem sincere, but at times to the point of being slightly idealistic, in "if only tears were laughter...night was day". It may seem very positive a dream but in reality when everything is perfect, that is where the themes of heroism and stoicism lose their meaning because everything is so "nice". This can be seen in the book "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.
Despite all these, the song in itself is one that realli be appreciated:)

Excellent!

Great poem on your personal philosophy. Not only is it great in its structure, but it shows everyone your views on life. This surely came from the heart.

My personal favorite part is:
"If only tears were laughter
If only night was day
If only prayers were answered.
Then we would hear God say:
No matter what they tell you
No matter what they do
No matter what they teach you
What you believe is true

Awesome job!

This truly is the best thing I've ever read. It says a lot, and it's really beautiful. It has like a moral/theme to it, and it's a great one I think. Like how it talks about being who you are, and all the other stuff. It's amazing!!!!!!!

Excellent! Being a music artist (or at least an aspiring one.....) I would totally set that to music! The punctuation needs to be improved a bit...but that's easily fixed.

One question though: What is it about? And what are you trying to say?
