Well, well. So stretch marks those lines every women regrets getting. It's hereditary. My mother said she didn't get them and she has three kids. I don't know my father. So I didn't know for sure about his side. So I thought I was in the clear. I'm 10 and half weeks pregnant and last week I noticed some stretch marks on my butt. I am so sad...but oh well just comes with the genes I suppose. I think I am going to be huge. I am already showing and have stretch marks at 10 weeks. I'm a little worried. And I am not further than I think I had an ultrasound at 6 and half weeks. My question is when did you women start to get stretch marks??

i got them at the end of my pregnancy - i was really worried about getting them. I have HEAPS, but now, 4 and a half months on, they are starting to fade a bit. I was using the body shop body butter, and palmers coco butter. they are both quiet cheap. I also use to bath in Bio Oil (just add a few drops to your bath) be warned though, when you are further along do not bath in the oil while you are home alone as you might need help getting out of the bath.

Don't you hate that? I had no stretch marks till i was about 15 weeks and then they started popping up on my hips and butt and legs...then i got like ONE on my belly at about 20 weeks...now im 32 weeks and i'm like covered in stretch marks lol. My belly used to be cute even with that one little stretch mark but now its like a war zone. My hips, thighs and butt are so unsightly because of the stretch marks there... it SUCKS. I used that cocoa and shea butter formula for stretch marks like every day but it did nothing...Anyways if you have stretch marks at just 10 weeks then you're probably going to get a lot more and there's not much you can do about it...try to drink as much water as possible since it makes your skin more elastic. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

With my first I didnt get any and I was sooooooooooooo happy.
But with my second I was about 6 months and my Mum goes to me ' ha youv'e got a stretch mark' I was like 'No I dont thats just a little red line or something'. The next day I woke up and had a belly full of tiny little stretch marks. My Mum laughed sooooo hard. I had made a mess of her stomach when she was pregnant with me so she finally got her payback.
But my stretch marks are very small and light, you can barely see them. So I'm happy with that, but I was happy that I did get them as it is proof that I had my daughters. Everyone thought they were my Mum's!!!

In my 9th month I got them on my boobs. Don't worry too much, I was showing at 10 weeks too. I used an oil called Mothers Special Blend and it worked great. I forgot to put it on my boobs throughout my pregnancy and thats why I think I got the stretch marks there!

I didnt get stretch marks until later around 6 months.
I know they say its hereditary, but have you tried cocoa butter?
Rub in on every day ALL over your body. Once in the morning and again at night.
And when you feel an itch, rub cocoa butter on it.
With my first, i only rubbed it on my belly. So I dont have any marks on my belly, but I got them everywhere else.
It worked. And the bottle I used was Queen Helens Cocoa butter. Costs 2 bucks at walmart for a GIANT Bottle. Even though you noticed it now, It wont hurt to try it.

My sister had the same thing... quite freakish really....

She woke up one morning in the 4th month with stretch marks everywhere (her doctor told her it was hormonal... nothing to do with stretching). By the end of the pregnancy she had stretch marks on the back of her arms, behind her knees, her entire boobs, and all over her belly. It sucks... but they do fade.

In my pregnancy I didn't get any stretch marks and my baby was 2 pounds bigger than her were!!

i am 25 weeks pregnant and when i started getting a little big i bought this cream called cocoa butter for stretch marks and i haven't had one stratch mark. i think it's because i use that cream everyday after i take a shower so maybe you should start doing that because it keeps your skin moisturized. and to prevent stretch marks, don't scratch your belly too much if it starts to itch because that's a sign that stretch marks are forming. rub cocoa butter on it instead...
good luck with your pregnancy!!

I got a TON of stretch marks, not usually until about 5 months, though. My youngest is 2 oldest is 9 and really, they're pretty faded.

I only received a few on my boobs, and at about 4-5 months, No one in my family had ever gotten any, but ther never used any cocoa butter either, and thats what i used mostly on my boobs, i think it was because it kept the skin too soft and easily stretched!

stretch marks on your butt are not caused from the pregnancy. they are probably being caused by the amount of weight you are gaining if you are eating a ton. i have had stretch marks on me butt and thighs since i hit puberty. i didn't get them on my stomach, from pregnancy, until i was at least 32 weeks.
