Fruits and Vegetables and Crickets

Silk worms are the best. A nice high protien bug. You can often find them canned at pet stores. Live would be better of course. Crickets are good (dont forget to gutload them). The occational king worm, wax worm etc for a treat would be nice. A wide variety of greens is always a good idea.

Plant food sources
Plant matter should make up approximately 20% of your Dragon's diet and should consist mainly of green leafy vegetables. You may also include other vegetables. Fruit should make up the smallest portion of the diet. Shred or tear vegetables and fruits into small pieces and mix them together to encourage your Dragon to eat all that is offered, and not just pick out his favorite foods. Following is a list of some popular plant-based Dragon foods.
escarole
kale
collards
bok choy
Swiss chard
parsley
clover
alfalfa pellets
dandelion greens
turnip greens
mustard greens
beet greens-only occasionally
spinach-only occasionally
NEVER iceberg lettuce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
broccoli
okra
peas
green beans
zucchini
squash
grated carrots
sweet potato
bell pepper
frozen mixed vegetables
figs
kiwi
papaya
melon
apple
grapes
dates
peaches
apricots
strawberries
plums
tomatoes
bananas (with skin)

Mustard greens, crickets, Romaine lettuce, little bits of fruits and vegetables, meal worms, bearded dragon diet that you can find at any pet store, just avoid iceberg lettuce, it has absolutely no nutritional value at all and will give him diarrhea. I have 2 and I work at a pet store, so if you need any other info on the care of Beardies feel free to email me, I will help in any way I can

I don't know, what DO you feed your bearded dragon? Seriously, they eat crickets and if they're like other lizards, THEY LOVE fresh fruit!

Since you have a new pet you should probably know in detail how to care for it, least of all how to feed it. There's always info available on Google. Here are some books that came up on Amazon, I'm sure they're all good: http://amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_i_0/002-7875990-1066412?ie=UTF8&keywords=bearded%20dragon&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Abearded%20dragon%2Ci%3Astripbooks&page=1

you can feed them apples, bananas, pears, strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, cantalop, zuccini, tofu, hard boiled eggs, cooked pasta, mustard greens, collard greens, parsley, leaf lettuce, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, dandilion greens, some canned dog food, crickets, mealworms, wax worms, and pinkie mice(when they are older to eat them). i have 2 of them and i feed them all these things and they love it all. make sure that when you feed them these things you put their vitamins on the food, they need them to keep their bones healthy and strong. you can also feed frozen veggies. cut it up small enough for them to eat if they are babies. when they are bigger they can have the food a little bigger.
