Sandbags? You should be able to make them yourself. Go hit up Lowes and buy some play sand,dump it into the burlap bags and voila. No problem.

I live in Alabama and you might try Harbor Freight Tools. But I would probably check an army-navy surplus store first. If you are building a water barrier, consider buying bags of pre-mixed concrete. Whent the water wets it, it forms a wall.

burlap should be at the local feed store. Landscapers should have the sand bags.

Try a feed store. With all of the severe weather you have in Alabama, they should be relatively easy to find.
