I don't get it i'm in 5Th grade math and i forot how to!

Put a one under it...

for example 3 = 3/1

A whole number is just a number over 1

so 4 is 4/1

if you have a mixed number then you can make it into a fraction by this method

4 1/2 is (4x2+1)/2

that is (8+1)/2 = 9/2

and 4 2/3 is (4x3+2)/3

that is 12+2/3 =14/3

and so on so what you are doing is changing the whole number to a fraction by multiplying the value by the denominator of the fraction then adding that value to the original fraction

Put it over a denominator of one.

Ex.) 3 = 3/1
57 = 57/1

This is all you have to do!
You would just put a one under it....for example see the example below
