I totally agree with you, I recently asked a question, the person who answered the question was vile so I reported abuse and I was sent an e-mail saying that my response to this persons comments were not needed, I not as graffic, with words such as the following, which this person wrote in my e-mail and 360 page here is what I was sent- whor....f....as...hole, and that was wrong to delete my answers in response to this persons, it is as if yahoo enjoys controlling the free opinions of decent human beings, who show respect. Do as I say.....

Hi Friend, I am glad you asked this question.

This Yahoo platform is an ideal example of what Freewill mean for the humans.

Freewill does not mean one can do anything and say anything. It means excercising a certain restraint , in consideration of the society and its other memebrs. Normally Yahoo does not sit on judgement and leaves it to the participants. But if they exceed the brief someone should step in !

6th grade education is the route by we all came to higher level. Those lessons cannot be forgotten just because we have learnt afew more 4 letter words.

there are guidelines that need to be followed and have always been there. i think the main problem is that people are reporting others and customer care are not checking that they are legit reports before deleting the question or answer. the yahoo answers team are aware of this and trying to get customer care to check all reports. i just dont feel they have the manpower to do this right now.

When one is dealing with millions of ideas and opinions they must be strict in their interpretations or bedlam would ensue. I have been violated once, but I deserved it, so took it in stride.
It is probably an autoresponder anyway. Just rephrase the question and resubmit it.
