I'm thinking about sneaking out of the house to watch some movies with my friends. They live right next to me. We would have to walk a little bit, but we would wear all black and have cell phones and pepper spray. Also, two of us know karate. I was wondering if you had tips on things to take or how to do it. Also, I would like to know if i should go out the sliding back door or the kitchen window. Your sneaking out experiences would be great, too. Thanks!

Why sneak out? Do you really want to lose your parents trust if you get caught? Trust me... it'll just make everything so much harder for you. I used to sneak out when I was 14 and it wasn't worth it. I also ran away and that wasn't worth it either. I lost all of my moms trust. It sounded like a great idea at the time but didn't turn out how I wanted it to.
But I guess if you really want to then you really don't need to wear all black, or have pepper spray. And the whole karate thing is uneccessary. Go out the sliding back door it'll be easier unless it squeaks when it opens, then you'll have to go out the window.

lol sounds like you have never snuck out before....no one is going to bother you late at night so karate and pepper spray is a little extreme. Just go out the door that is either the most quiet or the most far away from your parents room. also suggest they sleep with their door closed (if they dont already), if they wanna know why just make something up

I don't know old you are but sweetie its really dangerous and can be a very bad thing.. i wouldn't do it if i were you but well im not you just telling you what use to happen to my daughters being in the wrong place at the wrong time..

Just ask your parents, hon, and nothing bad will happen to you. If you feel like you have to sneak out, you must know that they don't approve, and something in you is telling you that its wrong too. Listen to your consience and do the right thing. Good luck!!!

I guess you are in it for the thrill, right? Well, as a parent, I must say, you aren't going to score any points in the maturity and responsibility department. If you establish the fact that they can't trust you, then guess what? . . . . . . THEY WON'T! So in the future when you want to do something you are really dying for them to let you do, they may not let you because you have shown you can't be trusted.

Forget being sneaky. It could backfire.

I used to grease the rails on the sliding doors and windows so they would'nt make any noise.
