Nothing, and that's good. There should be a law that for every new law passed by congress the have to repeal an old one.
The Dems are in a sticky situation, if they push to hard to the left, they lose the White House in 08, if the do to little they still lose. I think that we will see vanilla laws passed on a bi-partisan basis.
This is good, the less they do the better the country is, and BTW I believe this regardless of who is in power.

The House have passed everything they said they would in the first hundred Hours. They passed these without the help of the Republicans for the most part, because these were bills that would appease their base and keep them believing the Dems actually care about them. Just like the minimum wage bill. They knew it would pass the House and get stopped in the Senate without the tax cuts for small business. Yet they passed it without the tax cuts. They are trying to make it a political issue, instead of doing what is right. Now what was not addressed in the first 100 hours was the Iraq war. That's what they ran against in the mid term election, that and against Bush. They ran on getting the troops out of Iraq. We have seen they have not done a damn thing about getting the troops out of Iraq. Sure sounded good during the election though. Here, just pass a non binding resolution that should do it.

The House has passed its six bills that Speaker Pelosi wanted:
A raise in the minimum wage;
Enactment of the 9-11 commisions recommendations;
Ending of subsidies for oil companies, among others.
These bills are now before the Senate, where cloture has just been invoked on the minimum wage bill. In a few days a vote will be held. It seems that the minority party had dozens of amendments to the bill, and resent the idea that a worker should get a raise after ten years.

they've passed legislation in the house to change the minimum wage, student loans to lower rates, spending limits and much more...
these things are getting slowed down in the senate though, since the one Democratic senator is sick and the margin is only one vote...
they've basically done more in 100 hours than the previous congress did the entire term... did they even work 100 hours last term?

They passed an ethics rule, but I think they forgot to tell Nancy Pelosi, breaks for Am. Samoa and the businesses in her district, and Harry Reid and his land deals. (Interesting how the mainstream media didn't report on that BEFORE the elction.)
Other than those, don't forget the pay as you go tax increase. There is no way that they don't increase all entitlement programs on the back of the middle class.

Oh, yes they have. The most ethical and honest Congress in history has tried to make an unindicted co-conspirator in ABSCAM the majority leader (thankfully Pelosi failed), and have backed down on their vow to be bipartisan (like you were REALLY expecting that one wasn't you?), and it turns out that ANOTHER Harry Reid ethically challenged land deal has surfaced. Boy, this guy has more unethical money making schemes than Hitlery Clintoon! Remember she was the girl wonder of the future tradering market.

You don't watch the news, Fox isn't news. Raising minimum wage, cutting student loan interest in half, making Bush accountable for his war, started hearings on 38 billion dollar taxpayer ripoffs in Iraq, banning lobbyists gifts to lawmakers; need any more!

They kept their promises and passed every bill in 87hrs, that was 13 hrs ahead of schedule. Those bills are in the senate now. What will your next question of praise for the democrats be about?

Thank you for your question....and answer. There's going to be a vote to raise the minimum wage, something the republican controlled Congress hasn't done in ten years. A few other things obviously not worth mentioning because you would only deny them.

The Dems have changed - and will change - zero. They have no opinions they are willing to express. They have no suggestions for tomorrow, only regrets about yesterdays. Unfortunately, the Republicans aren't a hell of a lot better! Ever heard of the Liberterian Party?
