stock up with lots of my favourite Soup or get an HD recorder so I can watch the Top Gear episodes I miss when I arrive back home... . this question has been breaking my mind for the last couple of weeks... .

I loved the first episode of the new show, especially when they were laying the road.

yeah definitely tape the tv shows you're gonna miss cause nothing sucks more than missing a good episode and especially when they're not posted on YouTube!
